Missing Crosswalk on San Marino & Serrano
Hello
The intersection of San Marino and Serrano in Koreatown has no marked crosswalk despite regular foot traffic. When community members painted one themselves, the city cited them for it.
This is one of the intersections at the center of the Crosswalks Erased campaign.
What Happened
Residents organized a crosswalk painting event at San Marino and Serrano to address a clear pedestrian safety gap. LADOT removed the crosswalk. Participants received citations. No official crosswalk has been installed or committed to.
