Ktown Team Library

Hello

The wiki documents how Ktown Team works. Hub lists where to find services. The Library is something different - a place for the knowledge that doesn't fit anywhere else.

Community histories. Guides written by neighbors for neighbors. Cultural context that helps make sense of the neighborhood. Documentation of issues Koreatown has faced and how residents responded. The kind of knowledge that lives in people's heads and rarely gets written down.

What It Will Hold

  • Neighborhood histories and cultural archives
  • Guides to navigating life in Koreatown - written by residents, for residents
  • Documentation of community campaigns, issues, and advocacy efforts
  • Resources contributed by local experts in housing, health, education, and law
  • Multilingual content reflecting the languages of the neighborhood

Why It Is Different

The wiki documents the organization. Hub connects you to services. The Library captures community knowledge - the accumulated experience of people who live here, written in a way that anyone arriving in Koreatown can benefit from.

It is built to be contributed to, not just consumed. If you have knowledge your neighbors could use, there will be a place for it.

Help Shape It

The Library is in early development. What it becomes depends on what the community brings to it.

What do you know about Koreatown that you wish someone had told you? What guides, histories, or resources would have helped you when you needed them?
