Introducing Ktown Team

Koreatown is one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in Los Angeles - and one of the most overlooked. Tens of thousands of people call it home: Korean families, Latinx immigrants, Bangladeshi residents, Filipino communities, and neighbors from across the world. But for all its energy, Koreatown has rarely had an organization built specifically to serve it.
That's what Ktown Team is.
We're a community organization founded in Koreatown by people who live here. Our founders are immigrants who got involved in local nonprofits, neighborhood councils, and city projects - and kept running into the same problem: the people making decisions weren't the people most affected by them.
So we built something different.
What We've Built
Ktown Team is both an organization and a platform. We've built a growing network of community tools - each one designed to lower a specific barrier to participation:

How We're Structured
No CEO. No chain of command. We operate with a flat hierarchy - open decision-making, where the people closest to the problems lead the solutions.
