Why this campaign
Ktown Team builds tools — for finding resources, reading news, discovering events, browsing photos, documenting housing issues. But if you're a resident and you just have a question — "where can I get free legal help?" or "when's the next community festival?" or "how do I report a housing problem?" — you shouldn't need to know which tool has the answer.
Ask is the front door. Type a question at ask.ktown.team, get an answer backed by real sources — 370 wiki articles and 206 curated Q&A. If Ask can't answer, it captures the question so the knowledge base grows from what real people actually need to know.
Not another app to learn. A question box that gets you to the right place.
What we're doing
- Operating Ask — a question router at ask.ktown.team with full-text search over the wiki and curated Q&A
- Routing intelligently — strong matches answer directly, source-backed matches answer conservatively, weak matches stored for review
- Growing the knowledge base — unanswered questions are captured and reviewed
- Powering the homepage search — the search bar on ktown.team routes directly to Ask
How to participate
- Residents: Ask any question about Koreatown at ask.ktown.team — even unanswered questions help the knowledge base grow
- Volunteers: Help review unanswered questions and write curated answers
- Everyone: Share ask.ktown.team with anyone who has a question about life in Koreatown
